World Bee Day was on Thursday 20th May. All around the world, people celebrated these tiny creatures to raise awareness about their role in our world.

Bees play such a significant part in our lives. Bees and other pollinators pollinate nearly three quarters of the plants that produce 90% of the world’s food. This means that every third spoonful of food you take, depends on our bees pollination.

Our Year 1 students explored the native bees in our school garden.
